There is no denying that all human beings have the privilege to pursue their various ideals. The journey of pursuing our ideals is not as smooth as we have expected. On the one hand, some people firmly believe that a few individuals or small groups (family, friends, teachers, celebrities, for example) have caused them to think and behave in the way they do. Fortunately, if our ideals match their expectations, which means that we are on the same track. If not, we should insist on pursuing our ideas as long as they perfectly combine the national demands with personal interests. Just as Aristotle says, “Plato is dear to me, but dearer still is truth. It is expected that our pursuit should meet the demands of the majority of society. We human beings couldn't be isolated from society, consequently, our pursuits should live up to the expectations of the majority, which seems that we are approaching our pursuit. However, we should be aware that the majority are not always in the right and we should bear in mind that the ideals that we pursue are fixed on the track of beauty, faith, love, bravery, and virtue. As the old proverb goes every cloud has a sliver, henceforth, we should have the inspirations to confront all the situations we meet with on the way of pursuing our ideals no matter whether it comes from the minority or the majority.
