高一英语作文模拟题:我的家乡

My hometown was surrounded by trees and river where swarms of fishes were swimming happily. The households are simple and the streets are not wide. People works hard but their incomes can not afford comfortable life. As the time goes by, there are more and more buildings, mansions and stores are located on our town, more and more vehicles are running on the street. The town seems gorgeous, but when you look closely, you would found that the environment is getting worse. When you walk around the town, you can rarely meet the lovely trees and fishes. I guess we should protect our town by eliminating the pollution.
