There is a place that always reminds me that I belong to her--my hometown. As far as i can memorize , surrounded by green woods ,my hometown used to sit in the center of the woods and a stream went throw it quietly, where you could see various fishes swam in it freely . On the both sides of the narrow streets were our cottages. People there lived a poorly off but happy life.Time flies ! With the development of our economy ,The little cottages have been replaced by tall buildings and large factories. All kinds of vehicles crowd in the streets, where traffic jams are a common phenomenon. Our environment has sacrificed so much for the development of industry .The green woods is being cut down ,worse still ,the fish in the stream could only be seen in my memory. I do hope that our government could do something to protect our threatened mother nature .
