There are many festivals in china. Festival is one part of our culture and every festival have their own story. Mention the Dragon Boat Festival, and most people will think of Zongzi- mainly made of rice and other ingredients and look like a trangle. People also hanging Ay Tsao on their front door in order to driving out misfortune. As the name "Dragon Boat Festival", in that day, dragon boat racing is an indispensable part of the festival. For both participants and visitors who are totally enjoy themselves. It was said that a patriotic poet went away at that day. In ancient times, there was a poet named Quyuan who jumped to the Miluo river because the country was collapsed and he didn't want to becoming a colonial slave. From then on, on the one hand, people will throw food to the Miluo river to preventing fish to bit the body or soul in some ways. On the other hand , people will also throw flowers to the river to worship the greatist poet. Dragon Boat Festival is the treasure of our chinese culture.
