Are Dialects Just as Acceptble in Public It is obvious that China is a country with a broad land and many minorities from every proviences, thus each area owns its dialects. Based on this circumantance, does it mean dialects are acceptble in public? From my prospective, i barely agree with this view, my reasons will be listed as the following points. It will cause great misunderstanding when peope communicate with each other, especially the dialects are hard to comprehend. people may be from different community, if they speak dialects, it would difficult for us to understand each other. Furthmore, dialects may block spreading of culture. Language is an essential carrier for extention of culture communication. Speaking dialect may cuase trouble for cultural exchange . Finally, speaing dialects may look down upon by other people who will suppose we are from a poor or undeveloping area. Thus frow above description , we can easily draw a conclusion that it is not suitble for us to speak dialects in pubic places. It not only brings trobles to other pople, but also makes us feel ashame. Based on this consideration, we should speak offical language in pubilc places, not only for ourselves , but also for other people's convenience .
