In China, most people will reunite when the time is the Mid-Autumn Festival on lunar calendar Auguest 15th with their families to have dinner, though the people who work far away from home. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of Chinese traditional festival, so we have holiday during the period. On that day, the moon is a circle, then in our views, it means reunion. We enjoy the time with families admiring the full moon, and enjoy the yummy mooncake.
