Maybe you’ve heard of voluntary blood donation, which embodies the spirit of love and dedication. And I, as a volunteer for the Red Cross, donate blood as often as I can to help patients in need. Doing what I can to help others is my beautiful little faith. It is minuscule, however, compared with those of people contributing to the Communist Party of China without hesitation in the course of its 100 years of growth. It is countless great faiths that shine the way forward, and all walks of life shine their own light and make contributions to our country. As we all know, the year 2020 had been an exceedingly difficult one when everyone was combating the COVID-19. And the medical workers at the forefront of the epidemic shone with a light of victory against the epidemic. During the outbreak of epidemic, when Zhong Nanshan, an 84-year-old academician, heard about the emergency situation in Wuhan, west to the airport, faraway places, 15 minutes, then 3 days, 4 cities, less than 6-hour break every day, he was resolutely a hero in harm’s way. And the great faith of all the medical workers, is the mission to protect people’s health. Confronted with national territorial issues, border soldiers shone with a light of unity and faith. In June 2020, foreign troops crossed the border brazenly in the Galevan Valley. Facing violent attacks by Indian troops, the head and several soldiers took self-defense measures. Breaking into rescue, fighting back, rescuing comrades from danger, fighting to the last moment of life, these soldiers used their youth, blood and even death to exchange for national sovereignty and territorial security. And in this border conflict, the youngest soldier of the victims was just 18 years old named Chen Xiangrong. “My love is crystal clear, it is only for China.” This was the rallying cry written firmly by him. The great faith of these patriotic soldiers is the determination to serve our country and keep us safe. It is millions of such people who shine light on the path of China’s progress. Faith is the beacon, faith makes great. If everyone starts small with faith, then everyone will brighten themselves and gradually be one of the lights shining on China, regardless of age or occupation. If everyone is full of faith, the future of China will be full of hope. No matter it is the 100th anniversary or the 200th anniversary, China will be increasingly stronger, and eventually become the brightest light in the world. In the end, new starting point, new journey. Congratulate the Community Party of China on its 100th anniversary!
