Undoubtedly, the cartoonist aims at reminding us that persistence is a significant issue which needs additional consideration. Hence, it is essential for us to discuss this issue in an objective viewpoint. In my opinion, a couple of reasons could account for such a phenomenon. On an individual's standpoint, not only does persistence have an immeasurable and positive impact on individuals, especially guides us to learn and live better, but also is the stepping stone which enriches our mind, ensures more fruitful results, and enables us to go further on the way of education. On the other side of the coin, if we turned a deaf ear to persistence, adverse outcomes such as realistic dilemmas would become more prone to occurrence. Given all the above arguments, I take the attitude that persistence is a vital quality in this fiercely competitive society. It is, therefore, advisable for us to realize its value and strive to pursue it.
