With the development of China and the implementation of the policy of common prosperity, more and more villages in the mountains hitched the ride of the times and escaped from poverty. My hometown is a small county in GuiZhou Province, which is one of the poverty-stricken counties. Over the past 10 years, the government has spared no efforts to help the habitants live a much better life. In 2011, the protection of the intangible cultural heritage in my hometown included the traditional craft of making Sesame sugar vinegar, a special kind of drink in GuiZhou, in the Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Then the government offered to help the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage build their own business. Before 2021, every village in my hometown has had a road, through which the villagers could transport their products to the city and make money. To construct the roads, the local government not only invented a large amount of money but also sent officials to examine the security of them. As an old saying goes, "If you want to be rich, build roads first." These roads made great contributions to eradicating poverty, making it much more convenient for the visitors to tour. With the joint efforts of the local people and the government, my hometown was successfully lifted out of poverty. The agricultural products grown in the mountains are transported to all parts of the country for trading, and people's lives are becoming happier and happier.
