Nowadays, with the rapid development of technology, there are an increasing number of e-books come into our lives. Having benefited from the e-books, some people are firmly convinced that this new type of books will eventually take the complete possession of book market one day in the future. Apparently, there is an element of truth in this idea, because reading books via internet is certainly much quicker than buying one. Moreover, you never need to worry having no way to find a book that will meet your satisfaction, because there is no shortage of reading resources in the internet. On the other hand, however, internet-based books do not appeal to me very much. Although it is widely accepted that e-books are superior to traditional books in some aspects, I still have little interest in them for the following reasons. Primarily, only paper-based books can convey us the real joy of reading. Suppose that what can be more enjoyable than sitting in the beautifully decorated garden in a lovely sunny afternoon, reading your favorite book as well as admiring the new fresh rose with a cup of coffee? Next, unlike internet-based books, paper-based books enable us to read at any time and in anywhere in spite of whether there is an available computer. Finally, the fascinating books never fail to be the worth collecting ones; many people have a strong desire to preserve their beloved books in their book shelves. At such times, you may feel disappointed with the e-books and realize suddenly that those traditional ones are your wise choices. “Whether e-books will replace traditional books” is a question involves considerable discussion. Yet no one can tell exactly what the answer is, except the fact itself in the future.
