Nowadays, there is a heated discussion on whether college students take a part-time job is right or not. However, I still hold my own opinion on the topic, in the view of its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages are as follows. Above all, doing a part-time job can help students get bonus income to make up for their expense. Besides, it contributes a lot to developing students’ ability to solve problems independently and intelligently. What’s more, in the process of getting along with the people in the society, students’ interpersonal skills can be gained. However, the disadvantages of doing the part-time job can’t be ignored. For one thing, because of college students’ limited time and energy, the circumstance may lead to a vicious circle to their life if the relation between work and life is not balanced. What’s worse, the threat to students’ safety during their work time is also worth our attention. In any case, life is the most important thing that we should value. As the saying goes, a coin has two sides. Therefore,we should keep the attitude objectively so as to get the best solution to problems.
