A starry night again, the most enjoyable things that Duval likes to do is turning on the lamp, and reads the newspapers with a cup of hot tea. And tonight is not an exception. When Duval finished all his work, he sat on a chair and picked up a piece of newspaper, then read it in amusement. Suddenly, he was attracted by an article, which was under the tittle of Let Birds Fly. It is an article about the poor birds caught by the human for amusement, eating, or business. In the article the author states a great amount of examples that almost all the birds are beneficial to our human beings. They eat pests, protect crops but only are rewarded for being caught and then shut inside the cage. Then the misery birds live end up with ingratiating themselves with the human, they lose the blue sky, lose the their home, lose the freedom. The most important things worth mentioning is there are several black-and-white photographs of the birds inside the cages where looks like prisons. A string of tear hang on the birds' faces. When Duval finished reading this article, the feeling of guilty rooted in his heart secretly, because three days ago, when he pass through the market, he glance at the bird and could removed his eyes on that colorful bird. Oh, how beautiful a bird it is! Then he pocketed his hand and took fifty yuan for it and called it Darling. Since that day, Duval have taken Darling carefully, watered it, gave it meat to eat. But to Duval's disappointment, Darling was not happy and lost its active character, it was sleepy all day. Now, after reading the article, Duval seemed to know the reason why Darling was not happy. Before he got to bed for sleeping, he made up his mind releasing Darling tomorrow. Because as long as Darling happy, nothing is important. In the second day, he waked up early than before, made a rich breakfast for Darling and fed it. Then he took along with Darling and rode a bike head to the Yellow Mountain which is the nearest mountain in the city town. It was a sunny day, the flowery smell floated in the air, the sunlight on his face warmly. He opened the cage, put Darling outside the cage cautiously. to be honest, Duval was loathed to part with Darling and love it a lot. He touched Darling's feather smoothly, and whisper to it like a father to a child who plans to apart with his parents and is going to struggle by himself. Finally, Duval put Darling in the hands and gazed at it fondly just for a last look.suddenly, Duval closed his eyes and threw Darling up. Then he opened his eyes and watched Darling spread its wings and flied high and high, and in the end it is out of his view. There is a big smile on Duval's face and he thought that Darling owned its freedom again and hoped that it will have a happy life in the future. After a few minutes, he packed all the things up and rode back home. He hang the hollow cage on the hooker and turned on the television and watched the TV show. But to a sudden, he heard the voice of Darling and looked up at the ceiling, he couldn't believed his eyes that Darling was coming back again and landed on the cage! This situation made Duval full of confusion. All the birds love blue sky and freedom fly, aren't they? Then who can tell me what's happen now? It is possible that Darling has fell for the cage? Or in another word, does it fell for the comfortable prison life? Duval said to himself. Not all the birds are eager for the freedom, maybe when Darling is used to the comfortable cage life, it can't stand the wild life. he thought.
