i agree to the statement.For the snap judgment means it hasn`t be treated serious,if we do something according to it,it will cause big demage to ourself or others. For i`m working as an project engineer now,i need to do the designing electrical wiring diagram in my routine work.when i`m doing the sizing the current of the motor,it should acccording to some rules determined by IEC or IEEE (some international electrical comittee).the current determine the facility i brought to do the controling of whole module.If i doing the calculater just by experience or snap judgement, it may cause the motor out of work or some even worse consequce.An other example is when i do the founction test ,sometimes we will found some date is not right ,we need to check the machine carefully to find out what`s the reason of it.and then doing the test very carefully. As an engineer,my work make me treat eveything very serious. So i agree snap judgements can never be trusted.
