It's universally acknowledged that TV has played an essential role in people's life. As we rely on TV more and more, some people can't help wondering: it is a good thing or a bad thing? At an individual level, I am standing on the "good " side for the reasons below. First of all, TV has significantly enriched people's life. For example, there are various TV programmes which can always entertain us on television. As we know, kids like cartoons, the old favor dramas, men prefer sports and soap operas always meet with favorable reception among women. Simultaneously, the function of TV that it delivers vital information and latest worldwide news every day makes us connected to the world. Last but not least, we can earn quite a number of knowledge which is not accessible in class from TV. Under these conditions, I sincerely believe that TV is good for us. Despite that we can benefit a lot from TV, it inevitably has some bad effects on us if we do not use it properly. As a consequence, I think we should keep it in mind that make a good use of TV even though it is a good thing.
