As predicted by the two graphs above,both of them show positive correlation between quantity and the growing year,while convey different messages.The first graph shows a continuous increase in American population from 1800 to 2000.The second graph demonstrates the extinction of 70 wild life species,among which 50-60 species disappeared from the planet between 1800-1900.It seems that the population explosion has the great destructive effect on the wild life. Seemingly,it is not good news.With the development of the society,human hunger for more source and land,and to satisfy their greed desires,they begin to plunder the source which belong to wild lives' and take up their homes.The lost animals are forced to change their habitats.What's worse, if they can not adopt to the new environment,they will die.Another significative cause is that the pollution of the environment and the green house.Hence,the species of wildlife become less and less. In the foreseeable future, if we didn't take measures to save the animals,we would suffer the same problem-the extinction.So, it is high time that we should take actions to control the population such as The Only Child.Moreover,official effort should be made to make laws to forbid hunting,and create a pleasant living environment for the wildlife.As a consequence,only with the effort of all people,can we have a diverse,beautiful earth.
