No one can deny the great and rapid progress human has made .We have witnessed the huge change and development in technology, art and so on, however, we have to admit that there are some areas that human need to explore more. In terms of the progress of the human race has made, with the development of science and technology, people have a staggering change in the way of working and living. In the old days, most people relied on their physical strength to work things like farming . Until the first industrial revolution, the machines let our hands free. Men can benefit from steam engines . After that, during the second industrial revolution, telephones were created which connect people together . Now, we have computers, wifi and so on , these are all things that people can not even imagine having. Moreover, in music, we not only have the baroque composer like Bach but also more romantic one like Beethoven. Chopin is more sensitive and he is like a poet while Liszt combined the skills in violin with piano. In modern times, we have a different genre of music such as rock, country music, jazz etc. And artists now use digital midi to input the electronic signal to the computer instead of recording them. Compared with the past, there are many areas needed to be developed. Environmental problems in terms of pollutions, global warming , species extinction and so forth, have been a great headache to most nations who always trap into a dilemma between economic development and ecological balance. Carbon dioxide, nitroixide which can cause global warming are increasing in the atmosphere while ozone deficient in troposphere so that more ultra violet will penetrate the atmosphere and might do harm to human beings. Besides, no one can figure out where we are from and how the space is created. We still know little about the outer space. To put it in a nutshell, although a lack of knowledge concerning how to control human desire seems to be a big handicap to human civilization, it should be admitted that we have made a great progress in many fields , and the advancement is expected to continue.
