Due Attention Should Be Given to Spelling It’s well known to us that more and more people have started to learning English. People try their best to improve their speaking,listening,reading even translating. But another problem has faced us----spelling. We can’t ignore the fact that plenty of students don’t emphasis the importance of spelling. There are some reasons for ignorance of spelling. On the one hand, typing has taken place of handwriting in many situations. Since we can use computers and cellphones to typing and the machines can help us to check the spelling ,many of us are short of spelling. On the other hand,the majority of students are not aimd to practise their spelling and they always spend more time in speaking or reading. In my opinion,students should realise that spelling also plays an important role in learning English. What’s more,the teachers must take more spelling practice for their students. For example,they can hold a competation about spelling to encourage their students to improve their spelling . In a word, we shoud emphasis the importance of spelling and find a correct way to learning English.
