Nowadays,it is obvious that many students don't take spelling into account.The phenonmenon has become more and more seriously. There are some reasons that contribute to this phenomenon.Firstly,some students dislike English,they have little interest on it.Secondly, students only hope that they can pass the exams and don't spend too much time on studying English spelling.Thirdly,with the development of the new technology,almost all the students have their own mobile phones or maybe computers, which will help them find out the new words quickly and don't take time to remember them. However,in fact ,spelling is much more important,just as the competition"Spelling Bee",which will help us improve our skills about English,expand our vocabulary.In my opinion,in order to change this phenomenon,we should improve our interest on English study and the awareness of the importantence of spelling.And maybe there should be more competitions about English spelling so that every student can take part in.
