Nowadays, an issue is widely spreading in megacities which indicates that the quality of life gets lower and lower. The supporters, keeping this mind, usually give these reasons like work pressure, environment pollution, crowded people, and the high cost of living. With the start, most people living in large cities stand very high stress of work, due to the frequent overtime and the afraid of being laid off, especially for the physical labors. Secondly, as the exhaust gas releasing from factories and cars, air in the cities often appears like fog and haze, which maybe make negative effects on people's health. Since there are more opportunities in earning money, big cities offer much many working positions for the foreign population and maintain a large population, however, it also leads to the congested conditions everywhere and the terrible traffic. For the population having such a high density and the resources are so limited, the items which are necessities of living, such as foods, fruits,houses, are obvious more expensive than the other places. All these problems in the metropolis make the citizens feel less happiness. Accoding to these causes, some suggestions could be given to the government. First of all, a stricter labor-protection law should be made and more holidays for labors should be encouraged. Secondly, environment protection actions should be taken in various fields, as an example, pushing the factory to equip more cleaning facilities. Thirdly, the large cities should move some low-technology industries to satellite-cities and evacuate the population to peripheral areas. Lastly, enhance the production and commercial development, to enlarge the providing of foods, fruits, houses, etc. to limit the rise of prices. With the development of cities, more and more problems come out, which lead to the decrease of life quality in large cities. In this report, the top four problems are presented, and also some feasible measures are suggested.
