Have you ever been addicted to the American movies and TV plays? Have you ever found your temper get worse and worse after enjoying a violent movie? Have you ever found you are more and more alien with young family members since spending hours on movies and TV plays daily? If so, you minght be certainly in favor of opinion that movies and televison are playing a relatively negative role in our daily life. To begin with, movies and television conduct the behaviors of the young and drive up the youth crime rate. As we all know, children are still in their formative years and lack the capacity to distingusih the right and wrong. Therefore, the young are vulnerable to the violent and pornographic contents in the movie and television, even follow them blindly. According to a recent survey in China, there are about 30 percent of youth crime is caused by the violent movie and television. Clearly, it is the violent movie and television that should be responsible for the ever-increasing youth crime rate. Additionally, watching too much movies and televisions will surely take up too much time for other things. This point can be illustrated by the example of my college roomate, Andrew, who is addicted to Janpanese cartoon and Korea TV play series. When he returns the department, the first thing he does is to open the computer, sit on the bed and watch the program. Sometimes he forgot to having a dinner, and sometimes he even watching the program in the class. Obviously, he has little time to study. In the final examination, he got 58 scores on the Botany and Astronomy. Unfortunaltly, he has to etake the two classes in the next semester. Therefor, it is unwise for one to take up too much on movies and television. To sum up, if you were not a good manager of yourself, you might endanger yourself by movies and television. so why not a little wise and put some movie and TV time to other significant things?
