Due Attention Should Be Given To the Study of Chinese It is noticed that the study of Chinese has been neglected by students in recent years. There are two main factors, I think, which lead to this phenomenon:the first is educational attitude of school , teacher seems to less emphasize the important spirit of Chinese than ever before. Now in their consciousness, Chinese just a discipline which can get grades to pass the exam-oriented education.,not as a significantly traditional culture. the other is environment of society. we may have found that learning English has become a popular trend, further than Chinese. Everyone regards English as the first language in the world and should be pay more attention,Chinese is our mother tongue which need not pay more attention because we can easily learn it. Nevertheless the fact is not. Neglecting Chinese means the culture of overlooking ,even eliminating. To alter the consequence, I insisted that Chinese should be a predominance than other language in our country. For teachers,they should change their minds which Chinese was taught just for tests ,should be acknowledged that Chinese is an art, a wisdom, an indispensable culture. For society, Chinese is a property of everybody. We should protect it not abandon. It sanctifies our spirits.
