Nowadays it's more convenient and easier for people to travel to other countries. As an old saying goes, every coin has two sides. Traveling aboard has its upsides and downsides as well. From my point of view, I think that the positive effect of cross-border traveling is more dominent. To begin with, sometimes traveling in other countries could be very dangerous. If the travellers have little knowledge of self-protection. Besides, traveling aboard might pace the way for many illegal activities such as illegal migration and drug smuggling. Yet the negative effect can't overshadow the positive effect of cross-border trip. For one thing, traveling to other countries in the world can broaden our horizens and provide us with many opportunities to pick up some foreign languages, which will make us more confident when we are back to our home country because it's easier to find a good job with some unique experiences and proficiency in foreign language. For another, as it's more and more convenient to travel to many other countries, it will eliminate many cross-cultural misunderstandings and communication barriers existing between our own country and other countries in the world. What's more, the cross-border travel will promote the flow of population in the world, enabling more people to have the opportunity to know more about the outside world and make better decisions for their lives. Last but not the least, traveling to other countries is a positive development because it can facilitate the propagation of different cultures in the world and also accelerate the pace of globalization which will bring much benefit to people around the world. To sum up, despite the negative effect of cross-border travel, its positive effect takes the roll after all.
