In judging from what is detailedly demonstrated in the above diagram,if we look hard enough,we can observe tangibly that it shows that there are more and more misunderstanding between parents and children,which is so called generation gap.It is estimated that 75% of parents don't like their children's unreasonable behaviors while children usually think their parents too old-fashioned. There is probably no better way for us to learn the not uncommon phenomenon than by studying the following three influential factors contributed to it.In the first place,the two generations,having grown up at different times,have different likes and dislikes correspondingly,the disagement often rises between them.In the second place,due to having little in common to talk about,therefore,they are not willing to sit face to face.In the third place,it is with the pace of modern life becoming faster and faster that both of them are so busy with their work or study that they don't spare enough time to exchange ideas.To sum up,the main cause of generation gap is due to lack of communication and understanding each other. According to the above discussion,we have no difficulty but can obtain the conclusion that it is high time that something were done upon it.Children should respect their parents.In the meantime,parents should also show understanding for their children.Only in these ways can we fill the generation gap,be partens or children.
