Spend less money does not mean you’re a smart consumer In my opinion, paying less when we’re purchasing something by the way of collecting coupons, looking for group-buy deals as well as buying clothes in a sale does not mean you’re a smart consumer. Only when we buy something both in good quality and low price can we regard ourselves as a smart consumer. It reminds me of several experience happened to me. For instant, once I had collected a lot of coupons of a canteen which was going to open as a new one. I went to the canteen with great wishes but I finally found out that I was wrong. In fact, the food in this canteen was not so delicious as they had printed in the coupons. Therefore, from then on I was disappointed with so called coupons. Apart from that, a friend of mine once participated in a group-buy deal to design her haircut. However, her haircut which was made by the group-buy deal was worst than the one she used to wear. What’s more, as the rapid development of technology, more and more people prefer shopping online. It cannot be denied that the clothes online are always in a sale, which is the main reason attracts thousands of hundreds of people to buy them. However, some qualities of these clothes cannot be guaranteed. Worst still, people always spend a large amount of money on the useless clothes. In a word, a smart consumer is the person who purchases the goods in good qualities but low price. That is to say, spend less money does not mean you’re a smart consumer. Only when you use less money to purchase best qualities can you regard yourself as a smart consumer.
