When we work in government departments, manufacturing plants or even in supermarkets, we see some people work as leaders, and others work together and report to the leaders. As a leader, he or she must have 5 (but not limited) necessary and outstanding abilities. The first one is having professional knowledge and outstanding skills in his or her own working yield. Secondly, the ability to creating work team with team spirits is also very important.Even though the leader have excellent ability to finish the jobs, but if the members in the team all work seperately and you can see the efficency will be bad and work environment will be tight. Thirdly, I think the leader should have the ability to make planning and decision correctly, incorrect ones will make the team members not satisified with their leaders, that will be bad for team work. The forth one is the communication skills.As you know, leader usually need to communicate with not only his team members but also with other function teams' leaders and his own leader. If not, some resources such as human,materials and finance resource supporting work very important, even team members' benifits can not acquired.The last one is time mangement, leaders like a department manager in a mutinational company have many meetings to particate, emails to check, reports to present, if he or she can not deal with all above successfully, I think he or she must be a bad performing leader.If not, works will be in disorder and can not be finished on time. The good time management will make the leader work high efficently and also have good performance.
