Pollution does exert such a profound effect on our life that it revolutionizes the way of people's living and thinking. As is symbolically demonstrated in the above drawing, there are three people, a fisherman and two tourists, travelling on the lake. What makes us feel pity is that there are kinds of litters, throwing by the tourist, floating on the lake. And below the cartoon, there is a caption which indicates that what remains after the travelling. What a compelling and thought-provoking drawing it is, and we can deduce from it that the painter is trying to show us that polluting would destroy the environment, and it is significant for us to protect our environment. On the one hand, environment plays a key roles in our life. We live in the environment, therefore, to protect the environment is protecting ourselves. On the other hand, the environment is really dedicated, once being destroyed, it's hard to recover and would result in many troubles. To my best understanding, it is imperative for us to take drastic and effective measures to reverse the disturbing trend revealed in the above picture. As far as the government is concerned, it should set down relevant laws and regulations. As for us, we should arouse the awareness of public towards pollution, appealing them to protect the environment in their daily life. Once by enforcing these measures into practice can we curb the current phenomenon, and we will have a brilliant future.
