Are Dialects Just As Acceptable in Poblic Places? Recently, there are a lot of debates arround whether the dialects are acceptable in poblic places. In my opinion, dialects are not acceptable in poblic palces. First of all, poblic places are mixed with many kinds of people who speak different dialects. If everyone speaks his own dialect, then it's difficult to make himself understood and it's time-consuming, and it will arouse misunderstanding between each other. Sometimes it may cause a fight or even worse. secondly, dialect is a kind of representation for a cetain palce. Everyone is proud of their oen dialect. But if everyone speaks their dialect, then their won't be communications. From what have been said above, we can see that dialects are not acceptable in poblic places.
