Failure is the mother of success As a well-known proverb goes, “failure is the mother of success.”All of us may meet with failures in daily life.If we keep optimistic attitudes, failures will be transmitted into motivations. Many examples can be cited to illustrate this proverb, and among them is the example of Edison .On the midnight in Dec.1914,Adison’s all experimental faculties which were worth over one million dollars were destroyed in a big fire and most of work notes that couldn’t be counted by money were ruined as well. The next morning, he walked around the ashes where buried his work harvests. This inventor said: “Disaster has its value, now all of my faults have been fired; it’s time for me to try again from the very beginning.” Edison’s achievements are admiring, but his courage of facing failure is more admirable. Finally, he grew to a successful inventor, which is of course no doubt. Beethoven is another case in point. On the night of 7th,May,1824,in the mucical city Vienna, a historical moment was carved on the glorious annals of art of music. In the article city, which was very particular about etiquette, the times of clapping hands for even the empire families were limited into no more than three times. However, at this night, perhaps the applause would be ten times, twenty times, even more without the intervene of police. However, who can believe that the musicalist of the successful music chapter, who had created countless glorious heroically works of music---Beethoven, he couldn’t hear anything, including his music and the applause of the audience. When female singer Oungre, pulled him to turn back and face the audience, he “saw” the passions of audience,rather than hear. At the moment, he was so excited that he almost fell down. He was a deaf man ,but could create shocking music chapters. There are countless other examples to prove this opinion. In a word, we must always keep the proverb in mind----failure is the mother of success.
