Dear Ms Yan,
I’ve learnt from the newspaper that your company is in need of a secretary. I’d like to apply for the position.
I’m Li Hua, female, unmarried and twenty-three years old now. I love sports and go running every morning so I’m strong and fit. I’ve just graduated from Hainan University. While at university, I was an editor for my department’s English Paper and last year, I won first prize in the annual English speaking contest in our university. What’s more, I type quite well and can use the computer skillfully. I like office work very much and I think I’m well qualified for the job. I’d try my best if I were given the opportunity.
