Does news play an important role in our life? Nowaday, it has become a hot topic when people try to explain the functions providing by news. Different people stand at various views towards this. Some people affirm that news is useless to our society as they think that there are no connection between news and our life, and to read the news in the newspaper or watch TV news is just wasting our valuable time since they argue that we all have our own business to do. In my opinion, I completely disagree with the above ideas towards the news. The people holding this view has narrow perspective. It is undeniable that news sufficiently provides us the opportunity to learn the world, no matter where we are and what time it is. Completely contrarily, news brings a strong connection to our social life due to it always presents us the events occured around us or outside our country. If we study or do our own research entirely far away our society, I believe that will make us break away from our social life. Moreover, with the rapid development of our society and our technology, only well knowing what others are doing, can we have a significant improvement of our skills and make a better life to cope with the challenge. In conclusion, there is no doubt that news is a fundament ingredient in our social life. Without knowing other's work in the world, we cannot refine and strengthen our own ability.
