Tom’s Everyday Rules I have a friend named Tom. He always tells me that his parents are quite strict with him, especially in his living habits, thus, they make lots of rules. Let’s see-what kinds of everyday rules Tom has. Firstly, Tom has to get up at six o’clock. It seems not very hard to do it, but Tom doesn’t think so. He thinks that he needs relaxation on weekends. Secondly, he must be going to school at a quarter past six. Thirdly, he can’t eat out. He doesn’t think it’s right to eat outside because the foods there aren’t always clean and healthy. Besides, there are more rules Tom has. Fourthly, he can’t listen to music on school days, and watch television on school nights. Fifthly, he must be back home by 12:00 in the morning and by 9:20 in the evening. Actually, I think the rules in our life are useful; to obey them will not be bad for us. Nonetheless, education is not easy at all because that on the one hand, parents should help their children, on the other hand, they should also let their children have a rest.
