As the passage suggests,close observation plays an important part in the process of our knowing the world. What's more,looking and listening matters as well. From my perspective, learning by doing is better for study than reading.The statements as follows are made to support my view. First and foremost, practise is essential in one's development. There is a famous saying in China that it is better to travel thousands of miles than thousands of books,which illustrates the importance of practise. We can experience something new and develop our ability by doing.Meanwhile, we can correct our mistakes and open up our minds. Second, learning by doing can make us master what we are learning in reality while learning by reading can't achieve that.Learning is one thing,doing is another.Only in the way of lerning by doing, will we develop our ability effectively. Last but not least, although doing is better,reading can't be neglected.We can gain rich knowledge from reading,which is beneficial for us.
