Recently,the phenomena that people ignore the study of Chinese are prevailing in our society,because most of them value it as a truth that it is unnecessary to learn Chinese language,which is not good for the development of Chinese culture. There are several factors that can account for this phenomenon. First and foremost,the globalization accelerate popularity of foreign culture,arousing people's interests of foreign language learning. Second,many people think that it isn't worth spending a lot of time on the study of Chinese,because it is too difficult to make progress in Chinese language learning,conversely,they can spend time on learning other useful things. Last but not least,schools has no strict demand on “Chinese language learning”,leading students to pay no attention to this study. From my perspective,Chinese language is so important that every student needs to learn it well, because we use it over and over again.Thus,effective measures should be taken to solve this problem.The status of Chinese need to be improved.Schools should set standard about this study. Moreover,we should raise the awareness of people to learn Chinese.
