playing games will do you good and do you hurt at the same time. for the good reasons the first one is playing some kind of games can enlarge your vocabulary and your knowlegde scale, the second one is playing games can make you feel relax after hard working,and the third reason you can practise your skills of using computer, maybe you can tell other reasons. But I think you should consider the bad aspects of playing computer games. first if you played computer games for a long time it hurts your eyes, many children got short eyesight because using computers too much. secondly, if you played computer games all the time you had less time to do excise and that will make your body weak. and for the third reason,you had less time to stay with your friend and your family members, you had less time to enjoy the beautiful nature. So I agree with your mother's opnion children shouldn't play computer games too much.
