Dear Sun Yue,
When people move between schools, old friendships often suffer as new ones seem to take their place. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If you truly value a friendship, then you should be able to make the effort to save it. Distance can by no means stop you spending time with this person. Make an appointment with her at weekends. Explain that you feel as if the two of you are growing apart and that you don’t want this to happen. I think your friend will be touched by your care about your friendship. You can then arrange to spend more time together at weekends or keep in touch with each other by e-mails.
Try taking some action, and I believe your friendship will last long.
